Amy Avalon
Retired Psychotherapist
Amy Avalon enjoyed a 20-year career in private practice psychotherapy. She became an advocate for victims of therapy abuse after reporting a colleague for egregious misconduct. By working with hundreds of therapy abuse victims and their families as a TELL volunteer, she learned that the field was overrun with unchecked misconduct, cover-ups, collusion, and protection for abusers.
She has worked to educate victims, their loved ones, and therapists
about this widely misunderstood issue and the severe and far-reaching harm it leaves in its wake.
She is now retired from private practice and travels the world full-time with her husband as they celebrate 30 years together.
